Co-working is happening in Brisbane

When the Thought Fort opened its doors in February 2011, it was one of the only options for co-working in Brisbane. But times have changed and co-working is really taking off.

Brisbane Jelly Group

If you usually work from home and you want to take the opportunity to work with other people and share ideas from time to time you should get along to the Brisbane Jelly Group. As a side note, there are lots of other meetup groups in Brisbane that you can get involved with.

The Edge, State Library

The Edge is a fantastic free public space. You can meet people and work together with a beautiful view over the river. They also frequently run workshops and events.

The Rabbit Hole

The Rabbit Hole in Fortitude Valley has an awesome cafe and has great workspaces at an affordable price. They also frequently run workshops and other events.

River City Labs

River City Labs are also based in Fortitude Valley. They have a focus on early stage and start up businesses and entrepreneurial activity in the mobile, Internet, telecoms and technology sector.

Salt House 

Salt House are on the corner of Merthyr Road and Brunswick Street in New Farm amongst the cafes and shops. They offer studio spaces and desks and have a great community.

The Swarm

The Swarm is an intentional creative/entrepreneurial house in West End. This architecturally renovated workers cottage is one of Brisbane’s most beautiful and peaceful places to be productive. Shared and permanent workspaces as well as many other great features including a lap pool available on the spot.
